  • 01. Girofiamma

    Girofiamma is an exclusive technical solution by Fontana Forni that forces the heat generated by the combustion of wood to remain inside the cooking chamber for a longer.

    This keeps the heat in contact with all the strategic points of the vault resulting in an oven that reaches the desired temperature in a shorter time, with 80% lower consumption of wood than traditional ovens.

    Our unique and innovative cooking chamber, domed front-to-back and side-to-side, eliminates hot spots and ensures uniform heat distribution.

    Our proprietary exhaust design allows smoke to exit even when the door is closed for maximum heat retention and consistent cooking temperatures.
  • 03. Gas or Wood

    Our ovens fuelled with wood, heat up to cooking temperature within 20 minutes and are fuel efficient (up to 80% less wood consumption compared to a traditional oven)

    Fontana Forni Direct Heat gas-fired pizza ovens offer the same great features of our wood-fired pizza ovens, but with the added convenience of gas & very little cleanup required. The also have th benefit of using LPG/propane or natural gas (with a conversion kit).

    Manufactured in San Lorenzo, Italy, Fontana ovens are made by 3rd genertation artians using only the highest quailty materiod and manufacturing methods.

    Our ovens are constructed using 2.5mm 441 (interior) & 304 (exterior) stainless steel, 12cm thick insulation, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated metal.

    Further, Fontana uses all continuous solid-weld in the dome construction of each oven, not the spot welding or screws you find in inferior products which warp or break under high temperatures. Allowing us to stand.
